Creating a cohesive structure under its globally recognised Team Green brand, this formalised pathway will create a seamless route for emerging talent to reach the premier production‑based series while sharing a common culture and methodology across all tiers.
At the core of the approach is the “One Kawasaki and bimota Racing Family” ethos—uniting Kawasaki supported teams, riders, engineers, and partners across classes with a shared vision of development, data‑driven improvement, and technology transfer including the development of future products.
At “grass roots level”, riders in WorldSPB will gain support in a variety of disciplines including race‑craft, machine set up and mid‑capacity machine skills designed to create success within the class and – when the time is right - ease the step into WorldSSP. The ultimate ambition is for the program to culminate in WorldSBK, where the Kawasaki WorldSBK team and BbKRT compete at the highest level of global production‑derived racing.
Zhenyu Cui – KMC Motorsports Project Manager: “By aligning our ladder concept we will provide an authentic, structured route for riders to grow within a single Team Green culture. Our support will extend to factory led chassis insight plus sharing detailed knowledge with teams and riders on component life cycles to obtain the maximum performance from their Ninja machinery.”
Steve Guttridge – KME Race Planning Manager: “Our three Manufacturers’ titles in the Supersport World Championship, seven in the Supersport 300 World Championship and six in World Superbike are a firm foundation for this new racing template. By aligning our Team Green competitors from supported teams with WorldSPB then WorldSSP and onwards to WorldSBK, we are providing a realistic, achievable route for talented riders to grow within the Kawasaki brand realising their maximum potential.”
