Czech Round Awaits Alcoba And Aegerter

The fifth round of the FIM WorldSSP Championship will be the next challenge for the Kawasaki WorldSSP Team pairing of Jeremy Alcoba and Dominique Aegerter to take on, as they aim to post season best results. Autodrom Most, in Czechia, will be the host venue for the next round, which will be held between 15-17 May.

Alcoba came close to taking his first podium of the season on the Ninja ZX-6R 636, having taken two podium places for the Kawasaki WorldSSP Team in the 2025 season. So far Aegerter, a double WorldSSP Champion of recent times, has taken a best Kawasaki finish of sixth place, in Race Two at Assen.

Most is not only the fifth round of the season but also the fifth round to be held on a different kind of layout from the preceding one. The 4.212-km-long ribbon of asphalt wraps around a hillside, with the start/finish straight on the higher level. Fully 21 corners of all kinds feature at Most, including a very slight and tight first chicane and some early sections which can be thought of as ‘complexes’ in their own right.

After Most, the WorldSSP paddock will relocate to the Motorland Aragon Circuit in Spain for the sixth round, between 29-31 May.

Jeremy Alcoba, stated: “We're at a crucial stage of the season, and the results are coming. In Hungary, I just missed the podium, which means we've found a good setup for our bike, so I'm in a position to fight for the results we deserve. I've trained hard over the past two weeks, and I feel ready for this fifth round.”

Dominique Aegerter, stated: “I'm ready and I've prepared myself, mentally and physically, to tackle this round in the best possible way. I can't wait to work with the team to improve my feeling with my technicians and with the Ninja ZX-6R 636. Most is an old-school track, and the first chicane is quite unique, but I like the rest of the track. I hope to achieve some good results.”
