Quentin Prugnières wins at Hossegor

Team Bud Racing Kawasaki were racing at home in early December, as the Hossegor beach race is held just a few kilometres from the team headquarters. As with every year, the event attracted hundreds of riders competing this round of the French Beach race series. Bud rider, Quentin Prugnieres, didn’t miss the opportunity to ride and win the Junior race putting his team colours on top of the box.

Back only a few days earlier from Florida - where he got several podium results at the Mini O’s in Gatorback - Quentin joined the team in Hossegor to race the ‘Ronde des Sables’; another experience for him after racing many Motocross and a few Supercross events this season. As in recent seasons, he once more dominated the Junior race. Starting from the second row behind the gate, as an infrequent contender, Quentin didn’t take unnecessary risks at the start of the ninety-minute race. After three laps he took the lead and did a perfect riding demonstration - even if he lost some time when a vent hose dislocated. Enjoying the bike and even doing some celebratory wheelies in the sand, he crossed the finish line nearly two minutes ahead of his main rival for his last race this season.

Quentin Prugnières:Everything went perfect, I took my time to get the lead after starting from the second row and then I managed the race. I lost a few seconds due to a hose issue, but apart this I had a lot of fun on this beautiful beach. It’s nice to race so many different events, MX, SX and here a beach race in such a nice place. I enjoy my youth!”
