Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP 2026

The Kawasaki Racing Team MXGP enters its sixth season under the managerial leadership of ex-GP winner Antti Pyrhönen and team principal Kimi Räikkonen, an ex-F1 world champion, determined to deliver yet more Lime Green success during the 2026 FIM Motocross World Championship after the team claimed the MXGP world title for Kawasaki with Romain Febvre last year.

The title was the reward for five years of a harmonious working relationship between riders, management, team technicians and partners together with the dedicated support and development from the Kawasaki factory management and technical staff in Japan.

Kawasaki has played a major role in the FIM Motocross World Championships for more than half a century, using the lessons learnt racing - and winning - in the world's premier off-road series throughout that time to continually develop and refine the Lime Green machines which fans can purchase at their Kawasaki dealerships. Everyone involved is quietly confident of further success this season in both classes of the world series as Febvre and Latvian colleague Pauls Jonass return with the very latest KX450-SR flagship in MXGP while teenage sensation Mathis Valin will again head the assault in MX2 in the second season of development of the KX250-SR.
